I was just thinking about thanksgiving (it is exactly 3 weeks from this thursday!) we'd love to do the oyster roast again at the house on thursday night. For those of you who don't have anywhere you have to be at lunchtime on thursday - we'd love to have you for lunch!!! i'll get mimi early and she can come and spend a few days at my house. (tell her i got a brand new QUEEN size mattress on the guest room bed!) we'll let barbara slice up the sweet potatoes since she has proven her effectiveness at this task. not too much going on this week with us. win has basketball practice every day for 2 hours so he is pretty tired when he gets home (and pretty RANK!!!) whitney is back in athens working at the paper in madison. they publish their paper each wednesday - you can check it out online at http://www.morgancountycitizen.com/. she has had the lead story for two weeks (that is front page - above the fold in newspaper speak!!!) she hit a deer last week and messed up her car pretty bad. she came home and got the cadillac and took that back to athens (poor thing!) yes, that means the lee family has had two deer kills in the past weeks! john is moaning and groaning about the economy and the election. i'm ready for it to be over. i think we will be fine no matter who our president is. I'm posting the picture of Win and his deer for those who haven't seen it. we cooked some of the meat (country fried chopped steak) last night. it was really good.
