Mama, you are right. I am tired. I was up at 5am on Fri & Sat cooking Boston Butts, and then I was up at 6am this morning because I had to go up to the church and chop up all of the butts and cut all of the sausages. Homecoming at our church went well. We had about 350 people, which is a good crowd for us.
I listened to the Eagles and the Dawgs while I was cooking Saturday. I thought the Dawgs were going to blow it too, but they managed to squeak it out. Hopefully the Eagles can beat Furman on Sat to avoid a losing season.
I am confused (as usual). Was my mother in Savannah or not? And if so, what was she doing here without calling me?
Great pictures of the kids on the blog. Whoever posted them, keep on posting.
Kaitlyn competed in a "Tuff Man" contest at our church on Friday night. There were about 45 kids (Boys and Girls ages 3rd - 5th grade). She was the only one in the whole group to get through the entire course. She was recognized afterwards and won some prizes and then she was recognized again at church this morning. It was an obstacle course (a tough one). You had to do pull-ups, a ropes course that was tough, rope climb to about 20 feet, a swinging balance beam, zip line, monkey bars, a rope swing out over the water, and several other things. I was proud of her.
Lisa took the girls along with some others from our church to see High School Musical 3 at the Sunday Matinee today. I am at the office working trying to catch up, but I figured I had better blog or else I would be cast out of the family.
Dub's blog was interesting. I want to know what kind of "large gratuity" that he gave Beth after she cut his hair in the warm morning sun. Keep in mind that this is a "clean" family blog!!!
Emily, Lisa wants to know what she needs to do to get tickets to the Nutcracker to see Anna Kate? Can we order them online somewhere?
As far as Justin contributing to the blog, I think that blogging is the last thing on a 19 yr old male freshman at GSU's mind. At least it should be.
That's it for now. I have to finish some work.
Jay
