What a day! What an exhibition of full blown art at its finest! Not only was I given the opportunity to spend the day with my family that I love dearly, but I was also exposed to a form of the arts that I just don't spend enough time concentrating on. Dub always said I should experiment more with different art forms. My favorite parts - of course and without doubt - were any and all parts that involved my beautiful and talented niece Anna Kate! She was marvelous. Anna Kate I am so proud of you and how hard you work at your dancing. I can tell just how much you love it. After the halftime entertainment I found myself a little hungry. Wanting only to snack on things like crackers. It did, at times, cause my mind to wander to more important things like what would be good food for Thanksgiving you could just grab with your fingers like little smokies, pig in a blanket and meatballs. Great party foods, but each leaving you at times thinking there should have been more to it or you just never get fully satisfied.
Anyway, back to the performance. Dub has already agreed to start training for next years nutcracker - LISA NOW I GET IT! NUT CRACKER! Until now it never made any sense to me, but after that performance and that professional balleriman I finally get it. My day is finally complete.
If you were unable to attend this year for any reason - shame on you! You missed a great show. I am sure Anna Kate and her mother will forgive you.
Until my next post
Peace out
