Somebody needs to go knock on mama's door to see if she is alright. No, I just talked to her and she is fine. She didn't get Whitney's original email inviting her to join the blog, but I forwarded it to her so she should be contributing shortly. I am sure that if she can figure out how to get the live feed for Big Brother, then figuring out how to post to this blog should be a piece of cake. She hasn't been feeling very good and went to the doctor, so please keep her in your prayers.

The Rowe's are ready for Thanksgiving and will be in Statesboro by Thursday afternoon. Betha, I will be glad to pick you up some Peach Schnapps for Thanksgiving. (I may even rap for ya!)

I just got back from voting. It is an extremely concerning and uncertain time right now. I did a devotion last week at our church camping trip where I talked about the turmoil and uncertainty that our generation is facing. What we have to do is keep in mind at all times that God is in control. He is in control of everything. He knows who will win the election and He put them there for a reason. We might not know why, but we have to trust that He is in control and He will not give us anything we can't handle. We have to do our part by taking care of the responsibilities that he gives us and doing the right thing, but everything that happens is because He wants it to and it is His will. That is my preaching for the day!!

I am sorry to hear that Emily (I mean Whitney) wrecked her car. Tell her to call me if she needs some good insurance!!

Lisa, can you either fax or email me a copy of Win's basketball schedule?

Betha, we will not be at the GSU game on Saturday. We have homecoming at church on Sunday and I am in charge of cooking all of the meat, so I will be doing that all day on Saturday. Let me know if you need my 3 tickets.

That's it for now

Jay
