Beth- GRPS Aquatics Volunteer of the Year

Hey Everyone-
Beth went to Athens today to accept an award at the Georgia Recreation and Parks Society Conference.  She was awarded the Volunteer of the Year in Aquatics for the State. We are all very proud.

She is doing fine since her surgery and our quick trip to Atlanta for her Grandmothers funeral. We did have to stop in McDonough at a pharmacy when she unwrapped her bandages and starting bleeding all over the back of the Expedition.  I ran in Rite-Aid in a suit and tie, with bloody hands and purchased $25 worth of bandages, gauze and tape. I think the cashier called police when I left.

Jay- I have the oyster cooker. We had a pretty good crowd of students saturday. Thanks to Lisa for helping us set -up and to Bob for helping us eat. Let me know if you need the cooker back. If not, I will get it to you Thanksgiving.

We are thinking about spending the night at the river Friday and coming back to Statesboro early for the GSU game.
