The Rowe family has been busy these past several weeks. It seems as if something is always going on. Kaitlyn and Lauren are playing basketball with Hancock Day School in an intramural league. The games are every Saturday, so we have been busy with that. I am Chairman of the Deacon board at church and also on the Board of Trustees for Hancock, so I have a meeting almost every night. Lisa has been busy with the end of the year accounting for our office and trying to get everything ready to take to our accountant.

We took 35 3rd - 5th grade boys and girls camping this past Friday night at the primitive camping area at Skidaway Island State Park (the girls actually went back and spent the night in the gym at church). The kids are ones that participate in our AWANA program at our church. It was a bit cold, but we had a blast and this program has been amazing. We have some kids from just terrible home situtations that we bus in to this program every Wed night, and it has been encouranging to see how their attitudes and overall personality have changed just because they know that we love them and want to help them. It has been fun to watch them grow and learn more about the bible, and some of the questions they ask are truly amazing.

As you probably already know, Robert Lamb passed away yesterday morning. I am going to the Memorial service in Augusta tomorrow.

Things at work have been going fairly well. We have managed to stay busy and actually had a good month last month. Hopefully things may be starting to turn around, but I am not getting my hopes up too much.

Mimi, I was glad to see you post on the blog. You need to do more posting, afterall, this blog is named after you.

I hope everyone is doing well and we do miss seeing you all. We are trying to find some time to get to Statesboro to spend some time with Grandma Di.

And Mikay, Uncle John is right about that trash talking. I was always very good at trash talking (just ask Uncle Dub!!)

That's all for now.

Jay
