Hello!!

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but it has been pretty busy and crazy around the Lee house (as usual!)

Whitney was home this weekend and we randomly ran into Beth, Dub & Mikay (at Threads) and Emily & Bob (at Christopher's). We also stopped by to see Mama. She hopes to hear something about her internship in Birmingham in the next couple of weeks. She is not getting her hopes up too much but I know she will find something. If anyone hears of a job - she'd like to go to Charleston, Savannah, Augusta or Jacksonville!!

Win has three games this week on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Friday is in Savannah - the others are home. He has gotten over the disappointment of not finishing out his no hitter!!! Maybe he can go the full 7 innings next time!! We had our Winter Sports Banquet last week and Win got the "Most Improved" award. Coach Dennard was very complimentary of him and said some really nice things (I know that is hard to believe for those of you who know Coach D!)

We are going to Fripp for Spring Break but will be back on Saturday so everyone plan on coming to our house for Easter. I facebooked Jay that I haven't decided if we're getting ... chicks ... ducks ... bunnies ... or ... kittens yet. If you have a preference, please let me know asap so I can plan accordingly!!!

Lisa

GUESS WHO ARRIVED?!

Today at about 5:30 Greg and Staci and Cooper welcomed Alex Christopher Williams in to the world.  She had a planned C-Section, however not scheduled for today everything went well.  They are keeping him in the baby icu over night to watch his breathing.  He seems to be breathing pretty fast so they just want to keep an eye on him.

I'm sure he will be with his mom soon.

I hope everyone is doing okay.  I saw where Mikay had blogged to let you know about her games. She plays again on Wed. at 5:30 at mill creek on field #10.  We will take a break next week for spring break so I will let everyone know about the schedule after that.  We saw Neal play on Sat and boy did he look great!!  He's a natural.

Daniel was an escort at the Miss LCMS pageant Sat. and was quite handsome.  His friend Madisson won the competition.

Well, so long for now.  Keep it real and happy!

peace, love and hope

CONGRATULATIONS BETHA!!!

Congratulations to Betha for such a great time in her first triathalon. I am not quite sure, but I think Bob and I could post times similar to that. (We might have to tag team because I don't think Bob can swim). Maybe we can let superDub put us on a training schedule (but would Bob have to cut out the Banana Pudding at Snooky's?).

Dad is doing fine. We were in Orlando last week and on Friday night at the hotel he said he didn't feel good and was having some chest pain and pains down his arm. So naturally I freaked out (I am just kidding - I was very calm). I called EMS and they transported him to the hospital and his heart rate was extremely erratic. He would go from 200 bpm to 80 bpm and then back up to over 200 bpm. He has had this problem before and is on medication for an irregular heartbeat, so this didn't concern him as much as the chest pain and pain in the arms that is normally associated with a heart attack. Once we got to the hospital and they did an EKG and bloodwork and told him that he wasn't having a heart attack, he was much better and much more relaxed. They gave him medicine to help bring his heart rate down. We spent the night in the hospital on Friday and I took him home to St. Augustine on Saturday afternoon. He has seen his doctor and they are trying to decide what course of action in dealing with the irregular heartbeat. They have mentioned that he might possibly need to have a pacemaker to help regulate his heartbeat, but I think that is still up in the air. He is feeling much better and I will keep you posted. His birthday is next Friday and he will be 70.

Leslie, I have gotten your messages while I was out of town, but you never left me a number to call you back and your number showed up as a private number on my phone. But you have nothing to worry about and I love you very much!!!

Lisa just left to go to New York with her mother and Kim for the weekend. It was their Christmas present. So I will have the girls this weekend and Kaitlyn has been throwing up the past couple of days. Hopefully she will feel better today. We have a couple of birthday parties that we are supposed to go to tomorrow and Saturday, so that will keep us busy.

We are trying to find some time to get to Statesboro and see everyone, but it seems like all of our time is booked. I remember a time when things didn't seem to be so hectic.

Whitney, I showed the snow pictures to Addisyn and she loved them. She wanted to know if we could go see you and the snow. I think she wanted to see you more than the snow.

That's all for now. I love you all and we will hopefully see you soon.

By the way, have any plans been made for Easter? (No chicks or anything that crawls this year!!)

WHAOO! I DID IT!

Well, I should say Brandy and I did it.  And before you notice my arm - they did not write my age on my body like other races, it is just my race number which was 43.  I finished in 1 hour and 26 minutes.  I know Dub already sent most a text when I finished - he was such a good trainer! - but I wanted to let everyone see the picture of me and Brandy after it was over.  She did really well.  Several minutes ahead of me.  I do believe this is something I would like to do again.  Anyone interested in training as well please let me know.  I can let you know about a really great trainer that helped me out.  It really was a blast.  I let my nerves get the best of me for a while, but once the race started they seemed to just fade away.

I hope everyone is doing well.  Baseball is in full swing at LCMS and getting ready to start at BA.  Mikay and Neal should have their teams posted on Friday so coming soon to the blog will be the rec. dept  baseball and softball schedules.

I haven't heard an update about Uncle J.E.  How is he doing?

Love to Claxton, Statesboro, Savannah, Athens and all points in between!

Have a great rest of the week!

Peace, Love and Hope to all

Snow!

Hey Everyone!

Well, I wish my snow had come to Savannah instead of Athens. I know Addisyn would have enjoyed it much more than I did. I never had a snow day before, I thought they were supposed to be fun - but yesterday was not. We lost power around 2 p.m. yesterday and still don't have it. It was a cold night!  Also boring. I don't have snow gear - or anything conducive to playing around in the cold wet snow. Especially when you can't come inside and get warm because the heat is out.

I just realized how dependent I am on technology! No phone, laptop, TV or microwave, and I feel like I can't do anything!! I am too scared to drive. Luckily I made it to a friend's house and can work on their internet. Just wanted to show yall some pictures! I have never seen more than snow flurries, so I was really excited at first and took about 30 pictures! You can see a couple if you want if you click on the link at the bottom.

Hope everything is warmer in Statesboro! Can't wait to see yall soon!  Congrats Beth! I will be calling you soon to do some interviews!

Hey Everybody...this is Kaitlyn...
It might snow tonight and Addisyn really wants to see snow. We have just been laying around all day. Daddy got back from out of town last night and he is fixing to cook us pancakes and turkey bacon. Lauren is sick today with the stomach bug so we didn't go to church. Mine and Lauren's Basketball season is over. We finished yesterday with two games and I made some baskets during the season. Lauren did really good too. We are now just doing gymnastics.

We have spring break in two weeks and we are going to Disney World...and I can't wait.

School is going good. We always have lots of homework.

Can't wait to see everybody. Hope everybody is doing well. We love and we miss ya'll.
Love,
Kaitlyn

Uncle John, this is the joke of the day from Kaitlyn:
Who are the smartest insects? Spelling Bees!!!
Congratulations Beth, we are proud of you! When does Daniel play again? We would like to come and watch him and bring Mimi. I know she would enjoy watching him.

Leslie, let us know when Neal plays also. We want to come to one of his games.

Love, Barbara
